Oh, I love this place and their eclectic vibe. I discovered San Franscisco's Coup d'Etat from California Home and Design Magazine. Apparently they have a new showroom located at 111 Rhode Island Street in San Francisco's Design District and have shorted their name to COUP .These are my fave pieces! The Mandala Project
The Hammer Museum, in collaboration with Ari Bhöd will host a 10 day ceremony, starting Oct. 26th, where visiting Tibetian monks will use millions of grains of colored sand to create a "sacred painting, following precise and ancient instructions passed down over thousands of years". At the mandala's completion on Nov. 7th, the swept up sand will be immediately taken to the Pacific Ocean for dispersal among the waves during a public procession.
