Even though I'm into nature and being outside, I've never considered myself the "outdoorsy" type. Mainly because I'm not really into camping and bugs. But now that I have a son who loves to be outside, I'm always thinking of where we could go and what could we do with him. He's a real "BOY" who loves to get dirty, run around, pick up sticks and get wet. When I saw pics of this place (via SeeSaw), I fell in love. The Dunton Hot Springs in Colorado is an exclusive resort across the mountains from Telluride. You can go horseback riding, helicopter skiing, mountain biking, snow shoeing, hiking, camping, fly fishing, river rafting, kayaking, ice skating and the list is goes on. Check it out for yourself!
Kebnekaise, designed by Little Red Stuga Design Studio. "Keb is a knitted pouf and the highest mountain in Sweden at 2104 m and is situated in the north of Sweden. Now every child can climb it in the living room!"
Oh, how much do I love the look of this spot. The James Perse Flagship in Malibu has just the right hint of modern subtlety. Love it! The Flagship features his venture into interiors with the The James Perse Furniture collection. The four collections make use of Belgium Linen, Farmed Teak and Rough Sawn White Oak. Nice.

Spotted a cool collection of T Magazine covers on "but does it float". This is one of my faves. I wasn't surprised to find out it was designed by brothers, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec (designers of the Vegetal Chair from my earlier post). They're the bomb. Check out the rest of the cover designs here.
After viewing a knock off version on Decor8 (posted by Irene from Bloesem and Bloesem Kids), the Panton Junior Chair is now my latest obsession. I want to get one for my little guy. You know maybe I'll get 4 so his friends can come over and sit around a little table. I'm not hating on the knock off one either!

There's nothing like bringing in reclaimed, repurposed, handcrafted designs into a modern interior to warm it up. Since I'm still feelin' the love after my great "date night" thought it would be fitting to post the lovely work of Rachel Castle's handstitched one-off felt embroideries found via Can and String.

A friend of mine asked me for some ideas on decorating the walls in her boys room. She was thinking wall decals....I was thinking something bigger! I love this limited edition numbered wallcovering from Tado. It's a treasure trove. You could find something new every time you look at it.

I have several of his pieces in my little guy's bedroom. He points to them on the wall everyday. Matte's art is eye catching and his color combos are "right on!" I also dig on the names he chooses for each one. This one is called "Sigmund Abernathy taking a ride through Central Park On Thunder Bolt On his first Trip to the United States." How great is that?

Yesterday I cut myself with with a huge pair of scissors whilst opening one of my little guy's birthday presents that arrived by mail (thanks auntie Leigh!) and of course it started bleeding. After pouring Hydrogen Peroxide on it, I looked for a band-aid. I'm thinking alot of moms might go thru this???....When trying to find a band-aid for ourselves in a hurry, the only ones to be found are the tacky SpongeBob's. I think these would look much better on me and baby. See ya later Bob!

This looks delicious! The Alila Villas Uluwatu located in Bali. Found via Raquel @ SeeSaw Designs (thanks!) Besides the "Environmentally Sustainable Design," the best part of the "pool indulgence special"?.... the 24 hr. butler service and twice daily yoga sessions. Ahhhh.

Grandma and Grandpa bought this tee for my little guy's 1st birthday as we shopped in Laguna Beach this past weekend. We found it after strolling into Crazy Shirt's. I haven't been in a Crazy Shirt's since 6th grade at the Oaks Mall. Remember the fuzzy iron-on bubble letters or the glitter ones that said "Lookin' for a 10" and "One Wild and Crazy Kid"? Might be a California thing....well, this tee is much cuter and cooler than the cheesey ones I remember from when I was 11.
